This is a double A side single for the summer .
After putting together Mutation Sensations i wanted to make something a bit more pop in my own kind of way . This mindset spawned these 2 songs.

Take the clouds home is both inspired by those wonky disco punk sounds that were in the late 70s and acid house infused pop of the early 90s , with a cheesy heartfelt spiritual edge coming from the vocal hook . I enlisted the vocal talents of Stacey Louise for the song to ramp up the sweetness.

Mind Snitchin came about from me messing about with slide guitar. I wanted to make something with a groove and attempt to rap something over it . Lyrically this may be my most open song yet . It does come from themes of anxiety and social interaction but in recent times through analysing past and current behaviours i have started to realise that there is a possibility i am autistic . It is both something i am coming to terms with and something that makes a lot of sense. I am trying to build the courage to go for a diagnosis whether it will make a difference or not but this is what the lyrics represent on this song in the skin of anxiety in the pub on a saturday night .

Anyway thank you for taking the time to listen to these 2 songs and a huge thank you to Stacey Louise for the vocals on Take the Clouds Home .
